Today is the print release day for LADY OF SHERWOOD!
(If anybody's wondering, I haven't quite stopped internally screaming while running in circles. I think that's going to take about a week and a half, really.)
To celebrate, I'm gonna giveaway some signed bookmarks. Here's how it'll work:
If you find LADY OF SHERWOOD out in the wild - in a bookstore, a library, etc - or it's your own copy, take a selfie with it. Then, tag me on twitter - @MollyLouise10 - and use the hashtag #LadyOutlaws. On Saturday, May 20, I'll take however many entries there are, pick 10 random winners (courtesy of random.org), and send those winners a signed bookmark.
If you still need a copy, you can get one at Barnes & Noble or Amazon.
Please, if you read it, review it. It helps tremendously.
I hope you're as excited as I am, and I am really excited. Here's the start of a good week!
Hope & Kindness,
This week has been an utter unexpected train wreck. Most of it has occurred behind the scenes (meaning that it's staying exclusively within the family), But it still carries an impact.
Regardless, we are only 3 days from the release of the LADY OF SHERWOOD ebook!
I am in that ever-so-lovey headspace of being both very excited and very nervous. But I'm going to go primarily with excitement, because tomorrow, April 21, 2017, CTP is throwing a Spring Release Spectacular!
LOOK AT ALL THAT PRETTY!
From left to right it's Shannon A. Thompson, Me, Heather McKenzie, Kristin Smith, and Tamara Grantham. (Clicking on each name will take you to that author's individual website, so you can learn more about them and their books.)
Come hang out with all of us tomorrow from 7:00pm to 9:00 pm EST. Chat with us, ask us questions, and even win some cool stuff. It's gonna be a blast!
Have an awesome Friday, and hope to see you tonight at the Release Spectacular.
Hope & Kindness,
It's book blitz week for Jennifer Derrick's AVENGING FATE!
AVENGING FATE is Book #2 in her Threads of Moirae series.
Still reeling after killing the man she loved, Atropos turns her attention to the twin tasks of avenging his death and freeing humanity from the deadly grip of the Keres. When she sets out on a murderous mission to retrieve her shears, her only aide is her temperamental ex-boyfriend, Ares. He is fickle at best, traitorous at worst, and assistance from him may be worse than none at all.
Jennifer is a freelance writer and novelist. As a freelancer, she writes everything from technical manuals to articles on personal finance and European-style board games. Her interest in storytelling began when she was six and her parents gave her a typewriter for Christmas and agreed to pay her $.01 per page for any stories she churned out. Such a loose payment system naturally led to a lot of story padding. Broken Fate, her first novel, earned her $2.80 from her parents.
Jennifer lives in North Carolina and, when not writing, can often be found reading, trawling the shelves at the library, playing board games, watching sports, camping, running marathons, and playing with her dog. You can visit her at her official website: www.JenniferDerrick.com.
Behold! The cover for LADY OF SHERWOOD!
Robin of Lockesly was neither the son her father wanted, nor the daughter her mother expected. When she refuses an arranged marriage to a harsh and cruel knight, the deadly events that follow change her destiny forever.
After a night of tragedy, Robin and the few remaining survivors flee to Nottingham. With a newfound anonymity, they start to live different lives. There, she and her band make mischief, robbing from the rich and giving to the poor. But charity isn’t the only thing she wants—she wants revenge.
As the sheriff draws his net closer, Robin’s choices begin to haunt her. She’ll have to choose between what’s lawful and what her conscience believes is right—all while staying one step ahead of the hangman.
LADY OF SHERWOOD is a YA retelling of of the legendary Robin Hood, and set to be released from Clean Teen Publishing in April 2017.
Thanks for stopping by. Browse. Smile. Giggle. And maybe say hi.
